Joint Problems...
Joint problems are common with athletes as excessive wear and tear of cartilage in weight bearing joints can cause debilitating problems.
Your body produces Glucosamine and Chondroitin to repair cartilage and maintain the shock absorbing capacity of the joint. However, as we age we produce less of these joint protecting substances.
The typical conventional treatment is to use nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), however this approach merely masks the pain and does not help the underlying problem. Furthermore, NSAIDs have an extensive list of side effects.
Natural, effective solution...
EverFlex contains three ingredients, Glucosamine Hydrochloride, Chondroitin and MSM. The quality, purity, ratio and type of ingredients are the key reasons why EverFlex is such a highly effective product to help maintain healthy cartilage in joints.
In addition to EverFlex, we have a clinically proven cream called 'EverFlex Cream', which can be used for muscle and joint discomfort.
Clinical studies...
A randomised, placebo controlled clinical trial published in the medical journal 'Lancet', found patients taking a placebo exhibited a mean joint space loss of 0.31mm over the course of the three year study, whereas patients receiving glucosamine demonstrated no significant joint space narrowing. This study demonstrated that Glucosamine can be beneficial in maintaining healthy cartilage in joints. Ref Reginster JY, Deroisy R, Rovati LC. (2001) Long-term effects of glucosamine: Lancet 357:251-6.
A study involving 252 doctors and 1,506 patients resulted in 95 percent of the patients achieving noticeable benefits from glucosamine supplementation. These results were better than any previous treatment including NSAIDs and cartilage extracts. Ref Tapadinhas MJ, et al. 3;157-68, 1982.
EverFlex contains...
Glucosamine Hydrochloride
This is a key component of cartilage production and maintenance. Nature's Sunshine use glucosamine hydrochloride which has significantly higher levels of active glucosamine compared to glucosamine sulphate. For example, based on active levels 1,500mg of glucosamine hydrochloride is equivalent to 2,608mg of glucasamine sulphate.
Chondroitin
A major component of joint cartilage which draws in and maintains fluid within the cartilage. These fluids provide 'shock absorption' for surrounding bones and supply essential nutrients which protect cartilage and support regeneration and growth.
MSM
A naturally occurring sulphur found in every cell of the body with the highest concentrations found in joints, nails, hair and skin. MSM is used in the production of cartilage and connective tissue.
Directions for use:
Massage into painful areas three to four times a day.
